How links are labelled

Every guide that contains partner links carries a notice at the top of the page, and each outbound commercial link is marked. Where a link is not commercial — a manufacturer spec sheet, a regulator, a source we cite — it carries no commission.

What commissions do not buy

• Position in a shortlist or a rating.
• Removal of criticism or of a competing product.
• Advance sight of a guide before it is published.
• Coverage of a product we would not recommend to a friend.

Programmes we work with
